What is CultureBroccoli?

~ CB is Food for Thought ~

This is something I find intention in. Something that fulfills the creative that everybody has the urge to show from time to time. That being said, I think writing and discussing topics like some of the ones here can change the equilibrium of the way we view life if we at least try to understand them. Things like narcissism, virtues and vices, love and hate, subliminal messaging within society, character, cultural progression in things we find artistic like fashion and cuisine.

The desinging behind this was simplistic and embodied the personality of the website. As a black creator, I like to embrace the aspect and culture that comes with the positive message that black community sends.

Drugs, history, humor and whatever else I find important will be explored on an intellectual level I hope those who choose to read can relate to. And if not, I still appreciate the consideration in even taking the time. Either way, discussing topics as such on deeper levels can make us holistically closer as a human race without hostility, prejudice or baggage attached. Of course this is easier said than done, considering the most important component of us all, which is that we are all human and subject to mistakes including me.

What is Finding Purpose?

The goal of the platform as a whole is to educate, converse, and enlighten those of the psychological and philosophical concerns we have in our everyday life. CultureBroccoli speaks culture, representation, embodiment, education and most importantly, peace. My mission is to hopefully enlighten those who feel the conversations discussed on this platform are worth having. There is a lot that can distract us from our goals and true aspirations in life, and not having a purpose in life can be one of them.

I say with loosely considering I, the creator of this has yet to find mine. I feel that one common purpose we all have as humans is to not only care for one another in avenues that we can, and spread knowledge to the ignorant or misinformed in order to better the qualities of life around us. This should be a unified purpose in life we all have in common, amongst other pillars that elevate the lively aspects of humankind. Simply put, this is how I feel I can help educate, converse, and connect with the thinkers around me.
